To younger people, likely the only vacations they have been on up to this point have been family vacations and the like. The years that are spent in college are a perfect time to do the things that you want to do and have always wanted to do but have not been able to because of the big group vacation or the family vacation. One good vacation would be to go hiking and backpacking across different regions of the United States. On the west coast, you would just need to find a California youth hostel in the area and you would have a place to stay along the way.
