When I first started, I sort of backed into web design. I learned it piecemeal, picking up a little here and a little there. It turns out I have a knack for it.

And that’s why I boldly created my first site, handed out business cards, told everyone I knew I was now the ultimate “webmesiter”, and waited for success to come banging on my door.

It didn’t.

All was not lost. Fortunately my good and generous friend, Mark, pointed out that without seo, (search engine optimization), my site would not get the traffic I needed.

He taught me a lot, I took his advice, and my site began to see actual visitors. It was a beginning.
