Along with the increase in roof stains all across America has come a wave of contractors who are interested in becoming a roof cleaner. A fair bit of warning is in order, however. If you have even the slightest tendency to be afraid of heights or risky scenarios then this is most certainly not the occupation for you. I’m a roof cleaner, and I can tell you that no matter how careful you are and how many safety measures are in place, there will be some jobs where you’ll find yourself in such precarious situations that you’ll wonder why you didn’t just stick with mowing lawns or fixing leaky pipes. It’s dangerous work, and sometimes you will be downright scared. So find another line of work if you don’t have the spine for roof work.
