You’ve finally gotten your own man’s best friend!  You love your new friend and are trying to to care for him or her as best as possible.  But some of the maintenance is befuddling.  For example, how to cut dog nails? 

You first need to make sure your dog is comfortable and that you stay calm thoughout the process.  Otherwise, you could make a mistake that would be painful for your pet.  Choose nail trimmers or clippers that feel comfortable in your hands and gently clip just the tips of each of the nails.  With practice, this will get easier for both you and your pet!
