West Tennessee known for sporting dogs

Due to its geographical location near the Mississippi it attracts many waterfowl. The Bird Dog Foundation, Inc. has three facilities that preserves and perpetuate bird dogs, field trial and hunting heritage. There are four exceptional collections within the Bird dog foundation: The National Bird Dog Museum which highlights over forty different breeds of bird dogs, including pointing, flushing, and retrieving breeds. To the Point - A Tribute to Pointing Dog by Dale Spartas and Tom Davis highlights the variety of the breeds, the training and the beauty of the sport.
The Field Trial Hall of Fame showcases the field trial superstars. These individuals and dogs set the sport of hunting dogs on its feet.
