Children these days are keenly interested in dancing. This awareness has come from exposure to the different dancing styles prevalent worldwide. The electronic media has played a vital role in redefining dancing styles. My niece was participating in a dance competition and was surfing the internet for the latest trends in Childrens Dance Wear. I was amazed at the array of nylon tank leotards, tulle skirts, flowery chiffon skirts, tights and many such which were displayed. Such dancewear has evolved keeping in mind the child’s ease and flexibility while dancing. Most of these were of stretchable materials and designed for maximum comfort and snug fit.
