I’ve been camping for a while, and while I’m a huge fan of just about every aspect of camping, I am not a huge fan of the mosquitoes.  I like being close to nature, but I guess not quite that close.  I find that part of nature to be annoying and just a bit painful.  So one thing I’ve started doing is making my own homemade natural mosquito repellent.  I find that it’s just as effective as buying that stuff in the store that smells horrible and really can’t be good for your body with all the chemicals that are in it.  I know it takes a little bit more time to make your own, but a bottle of it goes a long ways, isn’t very expensive, and is far better for the environment.
