The Importance of a Cheat Day
Health November 24th. 2008, 9:12pmWhen I first started dieting, I didn’t see the point of having a cheat day every week. I thought it would hinder my weight loss progress. So I decided to only allow myself a cheat day every 10 pounds lost. The end result was me being VERY frustrated, cranky, and craving all things sweet, salty, or greasy! So, I caved and had a cheat day. (Okay, it was probably more like a cheat weekend!) The result was I lost 2 pounds! I couldn’t figure this out, until I did some research and found that by consuming some extra calories for a day or two, you actually boost your metabolism! If you hit a plateau in your weight loss, try eating a little bit extra for a couple of days or try using one of the best weight loss pills, you may be surprised with the results!
