The community turned out to be a bigger blessing when I found a couple of great online pals, who not only encouraged me to go ahead with the surgery, but also gave me practical tips on recovery and hints on post-op care. One of the community members even helped me find an international insurer who covers medical trips! Now I am all set for my trip to Singapore. I have my fingers crossed!
