Helping needy children avoid AIDS
Health August 28th. 2008, 4:28amThe little boys playing on the river bank were happy. But I was here helping needy children and I could see under their fun was a sadder picture. In a world where 90 percent of all the chldrenint he world currently infected with AIDS, for example, living below the Sahara Desert, I knew that some of these little boys palying in the water were either now carrying the precursors to AIDS or had it or would pick it up in a few years. This is the urgency of helping these nnedy children — a race against time — and there is a great need to educate and help needy people to prepare their childrento avoiding AIDs and HIV.
