My son is allergic to a lot of the commonly used antibiotics, which makes things very worrisome for me as a mother. I don’t want to limit his ability to enjoy life, but I also don’t want him to get sick, or let any of his wounds (minor as they may be) get infected. What if the antibiotics that they usually use to cure the illness are the ones he’s allergic to? I am always hoping they discover new cures for common diseases. A new bronchitis cure before he catches bronchitis, new antibiotics that he is not allergic to that are effective against other illnesses he might get.
