In 1955 we drove through upper New York State during the month of August and watched them pick tomatoes for as far as we could see. As the trucks would dive down the highway some of the tomatoes would fall off and my brother and I picked them up and got into a tomato throwing fight. We were planning a small celebration for our anniversary, and wanted to invite our closest friends to share the fun. Where else than Bali Villas? Locations are magnificent and varied, and the accommodations beyond compare. We went to one where there were 9 building structures, one just for the 7 domestic staff that helped to accommodate our needs. A chef on-site was an added plus. The beaches were near, but with our own private swimming pool and jacuzzi and luxurious deck, it was sometimes difficult to leave the compound to explore the area. It was the best party we ever had.
