SO many people are getting tattoos these days. Take my friend Izzer. Izzer is short for Israel, & he was born in the HAwaiian Islands.

Izzer wanted to understand his ancestors better & so he researched Tattoo Meanings from an old text his Nanna, his grand mother had, explaining the symbolism of Maori tattoos.

By speaking with his Nanna, he found out that he was related to King Kamehameha The Great’s brother & that he should create a tattoo in honor of those powerful men of the past.

He went to a local tattoo artist located down on Alii Drive & got an incredible tattoo that honors his ancestors, as well as the Island of Hawaii.
