Being online and having a website is often not enough these days. The competition for search engine ranking is fierce and to even get on the last page (which nobody ever sees anyway) you have to take steps to get there. No site is automatically ranked on the first few pages of any search. Search Engine Optimization is how you would get there. You first need to read up on what on page optimization is and how it works, because until you have that working for you the off page tricks won’t be effective either. I would hit up Google and start figuring it out if I were you.
