One day while I was at work, my son called and told me the electricity had been shut off and the guy had left a note on the door.  In my excitement about my upcoming vacation, I had forgotten to pay a couple of bills.  So I borrowed a cheap payday loan and paid to have the electricity turned back on.  When I got paid the following week, I just paid the loan back with interest.  Thank goodness these loan companies exist or I would have had to wait another six days to get the electricity turned back on.  That would have been embarrassing.
