After graduating from college ten years ago with a degree in finance I thought everything would just naturally fall into place.  It did to a point;however I learned a few things over the years.  One needed to train and network to achieve their next level of professional success.  After college I went to work for a bank and it was very enlightening into how banks and people in banks work together, and separately.  Early on I had a mentor who mentioned I needed to have some career management planning. He gave me lots of other advice that proved to be very important over the course of five years.
