Gasoline, the stuff you pour into your car’s gas tank, cost money. It costs an increasingly big amount of money. Why would anyone just throw the stuff away? Maybe you don’t think you do that, but I’m willing to bet you do in a more subtle way; you waste the gas by bad driving instead of improving gas mileage, which is really very easy to do.
